Covens fight each other to capture power places, to be higher in the coven rating, to get respect and glory as well as material bonuses.
A battle begins right after the bidding stage which lasts 24 hours. During the battle you can attack your opponents, heal your covenmates and complete tactical tasks.
Attacking
Coven battles use the autobattle mechanics for attacking and the match-3 mechanics for healing.
Healing
During the battle you can heal injured covenmates and they can heal you. If a covenmate's health is below 25% they will be put on the healing list.
Rewards
Every kind of activity in the coven battle is rewarded. When you attack your opponents or heal your covenmates, it counts towards your ranks. You can view the rewards and their requirements on the "Rewards" page. When you deal enough damage or heal enough health a certain rank is marked as completed.
There are 2 types of ranks:
- Damage ranks. They require you to deal a certain amount of damage to your opponents.
- Healing ranks. They require you to heal your covenmates for a certain amount of health.
Every rank has its own reward. Ranks that are more difficult to achieve give greater rewards. Rank rewards are given to you regardless of the outcome of the battle. You can collect all of your rewards on the battle page after the battle is finished.
The fighting rewards and healing rewards are combined.
If your coven wins the battle for the power place, you and your covenmates who took part in the battle get an additional reward.
How is the winner decided?
The winner is decided after the end of the battle. The coven that sets the highest total score wins and gets the power place. It remains under the winner's control for 2 weeks or more (if the winner upgrades it).
