Tactical Tasks in Battles

There's a block to the right of the battlefield which contains special element of the game - Tactical Tasks:

There are several types of tasks which may appear during the battle:

An active task has 2 progress bars while inactive task doesn't have progress bars and is grayed out. You can choose what task to complete by clicking on the task you want. In order to complete a task you need to destroy a certain amount of tiles of certain types that are specified in the task.

As soon as you destroy enough tiles the task will be completed, and the "Collect" or "Use" button will appear. When you click that button you will receive the bonus from the task (a treasure chest or a few charges of a spell). If you don't click "Use" or "Collect" you won't receive the bonus and the task will remain highlighted.

When you collect the bonus from the completed task it disappears and the game randomly generates another task for you to complete. Please note that incomplete tasks are transferred to the next round for multiplayer and altar monsters.

If you completed the task but didn't click "Collect", the reward will be automatically given to you in the end of the fight (for solo monsters) or in the end of the round (for multiplayer and altar monsters). Please note that special attack doesn't follow this rule: if you don't use it, it's transferred to the next round regardless. If you don't use it before the fight ends, it disappears. Special attacks (like any other tasks) can't be transferred to another battle.

The autobattle system features tasks similar to tactical tasks from match-3. In the bottom you are presented with a sequence of attacks of different types that you must perform to complete the task. Sequences are randomly generated.

Here are possible types of attack:

A fast attack

A heavy attack

A super attack

An attack with a companion

An attack with a boost

An attack with a spell

A weak spot attack

When you use an attack from the sequence it counts towards the task progress. The task remains active until completed. After completion you will get a new task. Tasks do not depend on rounds.

If you have a cauldron equipped in one of your Tool slots, it unlocks tactical alchemy tasks in the autobattle.

The autobattle system also features micro-rewards that are similar to treasure chests from match-3. When you perform an attack there's a chance that a small reward will appear. It can be a small amount of gold, a potion, an item or even a gem. Click on the reward to collect it. There can only be a maximum of three rewards on the screen at the same time. If you don't collect the reward in 20 seconds it will disappear.
