Experimental Battle System

Some events feature an experimental battle system without match-3 mechanics. Here's how it works.

Player's attacks

Players have 3 types of attack: fast attack, heavy attack and super attack.

The fast attack is an equivalent of basic match of 3 tiles, the heavy attack is an equivalent of 4 fast attacks, and the super attack is an equivalent of 10 fast attacks.

Choose an attack by clicking on it. You character will automatically attack the opponent every few seconds. The delay between the attacks depends on the attack type:

Please note that the chosen attack remains active for 5 minutes. After you must activate it again or switch to another attack type.

Spells and boosts

You can use spells and boosts with all types of attack. If you activate a boost/a spell each attack will require 1 boost/1 spell in addition to the energy. To avoid accidental expenses spells and boosts are activated as packs of 25. After the pack is used they have to be reactivated.

Weak spots

A weak spot appears periodically on the monster. Click to activate it. While it's active one of your attacks will be highlighted. If you use that attack, it will deal 50% more damage! Each weak spot is vulnerable to a different attack type that is chosen randomly.

Servants

You can have up to 5 servants fighting alongside you. There are no type or level limitations for servants.

Servants attack your opponent and then go on cooldown. Cooldown time depends on the servant's rarity and level.

Servants can't deal damage on their own, they can only attack when your character attacks.

Your servants can be injured in battle. An injured servant stays in your inventory but can't attack. You can replace an injured servant with another servant, heal it or wait for it to heal on its own. Weak servants are more likely to receive an injury but they heal quicker. Strong servants are more resistant but they take longer to heal.

How is a servant's damage calculated?

Cooldown time (5 to 15 seconds) and damage of the servant depend on its level, stats and rarity (epic, premium, common).

This system allows you to choose different tactics of attacking and spending resources, removes many monotonous actions and let's you choose your involvement in the battle.
