You can assign members of your Alliance to certain role and they'll give you a specific advantage. You can promote your members to each of the following positions:
- Fighter - increases your total attack giving you more power in battles
- Guardian - increases your total defense allowing you to repel more damage
- Healer - instantly heals some minor wounds effectively decreasing amount of health lost in battles
- Raider - increases money looted in arena battles
- Hunter - gives a chance to deal double damage when attacking monster
- Trapper - increases money looted in monster battles
- Alchemist - helps you to mix alchemy potions faster
- Treasurer - increases coven dice rewards.
You can access your current assignments by clicking the 'Alliance' link in the main menu. Your currently assigned members are displayed at your Alliance page. To manage your assingments please click the 'Manage' button in the Assignments block.
Assigning Friends
You can assign your allies to each of the available positions one by one. To assign a friend to a position please click the 'Assign' button and select a friend from the list in the appeared assignment dialog.
Allies in the dialog are sorted accorging to the bonus they can provide at the selected position. You can assign a friend to the position by clicking the 'Assign' button. The selected friend will be promoted to the position after your confirmation.
When promoted, the friend will serve at the selected position for 7 days.
It is also possible to assign a specific player to one of the available positions which they can take. To do this please go to your friend's profile and click the 'Hire' button in the top right corner of the profile page. The appeared dialog will allow you to assign this specific friend to one of the positions they can take.
Limitations
There are several limitations for assigning friends. First, only active allies could be assigned, which means that the ally should’ve played the game not more than two weeks ago. If someone didn’t play the game for weeks or even months - they simply won’t appear in the list of candidates.
Second, all assignments must be unique. It means that if John is serving you as a Guardian - he cannot become a Guardian for anyone else, as well as he cannot serve you as Healer for example. It is still possible to be a Guardian for one friend and Healer for another. If your friend is already assigned to a position you’re trying to assign them - they won’t appear in the list.
Last, but not least, all assignments are time-based. If you assign someone to a role - you cannot re-assign them to another role for one week, as well as replace them with someone else. So, you should choose allies for positions carefully - it will affect both you and them. As soon as you assign your friend to a position other players won’t be able to assign them for a week. As soon as they duty is done - they become available for assignment once again.
Assignment Rewards
Assigning friends is beneficial not just for you, but for your allies too. When your friend assigns you to a position you'll receive a daily reward for doing your duties and a special reward when your duty is done. This reward can be collected at your Jobs page.
Collecting a reward is important not just because you receive additional resources, but also because your final reward should be collected before you can be assigned to a new position. Until you've collected your final reward you won't appear in your friends' assignment dialogs.
